The Battle of the Boroughs Teen Poetry Slam series is back for our 4th year this summer! The winner will win $1,000 and join a talented list of teen poets who won before them: Stephanie Pacheco, Italy Lee, Jayden Antwine.
Performances Details:
- Preliminary Rounds: Participants will perform one original poem or an a cappella rap, with a maximum time limit of 3 minutes.
- Semifinals: Each performer will present two poems
- Finals: Finalist will perform three poems to compete for the top prizes
Registration Guidelines: Performers may register for one preliminary round. However, if a performer does not advance to the semifinals after their initial preliminary appearance, they are welcome to register for another available preliminary date.
