Parlé Endeavors Scholarship and ALTA Grant F.A.Q.

General

What is the difference between the Parlé Endeavors scholarship and the Parlé Endeavors ALTA Grant?

The Parlé Endeavors scholarship recipients will be paired with a mentor with experience in their chosen field and receive ongoing professional guidance for a minimum of one year.  The scholarship program is only open to New York State high school seniors.

In a much more structured program, the Parlé Endeavors grant recipients, over the course of a year, will meet with a career mentor to receive support and assistance in the development, growth and execution of their business plan idea. Thus for grant recipients, two payments will be made: one at the start of the program and the second once the overseeing mentor deems they are ready to shift from planning to building their business.  The grant program is open to high school juniors and seniors.

Do I have to be a documented or a U.S. citizen to apply?

No. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements as described in the scholarship and grant programs. Parlé Endeavors will not share applicant citizen status with any other agencies

When will the winners be notified?

  2. A panel of judges and potential mentors will select the final scholarship and final grant winners from the finalists.
