2025 Poetry Open Mics, Poetry Slams, & Workshops
Parlé Endeavors creates a platform for youth and young adults to express challenges faced in their communities. Teens in past slams have tackled topics including police brutality, mental health, gender identity, economic disparity, environmental justice, immigration, and other causes that directly impact their communities. Through the art of spoken word, young people can articulate their thoughts and emotions in a creative, critical, impactful way.
Each year we host several workshops, and several poetry slam events, including our tentpole event, the annual Battle of the Boroughs Teen Poetry Slam Series, which spans all 5 New York City boroughs.
